2016 China Processing Trade Products Fair to unveil on 21st April

The press conference for the 2016 China Processing Trade Products Fair is held on April 12th, 2016.

The 2016 China Processing Trade Products Fair will be held from 21st to 24th April in the Guangdong International Exhibition Centre of Houjie Town in Dongguan City. 807 enterprises from 19 provinces in mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau will exhibit at the fair.

According to Li Yiwei(Deputy Secretary General of Guangdong Government), the exhibition area for this year's fair will be expanded by 20% to 60,000 square metres. This year's fair will still have one themed exhibition and 6 professional exhibitions, presenting approximately 2,500 exhibition booths in total.

"The organizing committee has strengthened the verification process for exhibitors and their products to ensure all carry good prestige and will be presenting decent high quality competitive products," said Li.

During the Fair, certain key exhibitors will release their latest range of products and have invited their distributors to attend. Currently, global supermarket giants including Carrefour and Wal-Mart, several national business associations such as the China General Chamber of Commerce, China Commerce Association for General Merchandise, China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products, and over 80 provincial key business associations from Anhui, Chongqing, Hunan,Shanxi and Zhejianghave confirmed their participation in the fair as purchasers. 

Additionally, approximately 2,000 international purchasers from key business associations such as the Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce, China-Asean Chamber of Agricultural Commerce, India China Economic and Cultural Council, China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, and the Italian Institute for Foreign Trade will also join the fair. Among these overseas purchasers, the proportion of countries along the "Belt and Road" routes is increasing rapidly, accounting for 60% of the total. European and African countries are also seeing rapid growth.
